Go down to the viewing area in front of Cliff House. There are fantastic vantages of the ocean, the beach, as well as some interesting rock formations.
Stunning views of SF, Marin Headlands, and Mt. Tam. Hike or bike 12 miles of trails and roadways.
See the cassowary [think emu-ish] just past the kangaroo walkway. Apparently the sf zoo's cassowary "slash" was a model for pixar's "Kevin" in the movie UP!
