The U-505 is a Type IXC U-boat built by Deutsche Werft AG, Hamburg in 1941. Captured on 4 June 44 by USN Task Force 22.3. Donated to the Museum in 1954 and moved to it's present location in 2004.

Nick Hansen7月 5, 2017The weather science area was neat, as was the U505, but way too many exhibits were broke/down for maintenance. We paid $162 just to get in and felt like it was a waste! Very disappointed!!!
Make reservations before your visit for the coal mine. Tickets are now required.

- Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle is a classic, but don't forget to listen to the audio on the headseats. It's pretty hilarious.
