Angel de la Independencia or simply known as "El Angel" is a monument in Reforma Avenue and Florencia Street, near Zona Rosa. This monument celebrates Mexico's independence in 1810.
It's a must go lunch place in Colonia Roma. Note that it's closed on Mondays and it's closed for dinner. Order a torta parnita, viajero parnita tacos and something from the daily suggestions.

Fans del mezcal: prueben el de toronja, sangrita y mezcal (Diablito). Me parece un excelente concepto, aunque si se atasca un poco en horas post-comida.
The pulque is good and the ambiance is very young and festive, not what would you find in your local traditional pulqueria.

The drinks are delicious and perfectly prepared. Nice outdoor seating area. The sauce on the chilaquiles de la casa was superb!

The seafood is great, and the mezcal selection is fantastic. The location is absolutely fabulous —get a table upstairs near the terrace to enjoy the view of Plaza Rio de Janeiro.
