We enjoyed looking at the very old transport. There is lots to do with children too
We enjoy the cooked breakfasts. I usually have a set meal of bacon sausages beans and egg that comes with toast. The Turkish breakfast is also delicious with Halloumi and spicy sausage.
We visited on Sunday so enjoyed the delicious roast dinner. We started by share the baked Camembert with walnuts and honey- really tasty! No room for pudding
Great selection of sausages to buy and cook at home. Quite limited seating. I chose the bacon roll with a fried egg. It was OK but I think I make a better one at home!
Everything we tried from the menu was excellent. The tandoori broccoli was amazing as was the Railway Lamb and Lucknow Chicken. Side dishes can be main course too. Best poppadoms ever!
We enjoyed the battered cod with Whitby scampi and the Hunter’s chicken. Great chips! Lovely surroundings with outside seating by a duck pond. Very old building making it quite cosy inside
A really interesting house with open access to a community garden. The stable block is a very nice cafe.
In early summer the walled garden is delightful. It’s fragrant with roses and lots of different plants.
We had the Greek salad with hummus, feta and pita bread. We also had the bean salad and dolmades. All fresh and delicious. Excellent coffee too. A good deli selection of Greek produce too.
We had the pancake breakfast and the egg and smoked salmon breakfast. Both were delicious. Great selection of teas and a good cafetière of coffee. Cakes looked good too. Very popular location.
We joy the breakfasts, particularly the Grill up and the American pancakes with a choice of topping. Always great coffee
Lively atmosphere, seating outside by stunning scenery. Indoors there’s seating for groups/ couples. Great selection of beers, ciders and spirits. The food looked delicious, with seafood a speciality
A wonderful beach with plenty of rock pools to explore. Walk around the headland for a great view of the island and maybe see the seals.
A good choice of starters and mains. Loaded nachos and calamari were very tasty. Chicken forestiere is good value with an extra chicken breast. Check out the wine deal, cheaper than two large glasses
We enjoyed excellent breakfasts, well cooked and presented. Great coffee and great service.
Freshly cooked fish and chips are excellent. Chicken and lamb kebabs are cooked to order with good salad selection.
We enjoyed the meat starter platter and the noodle bowls. The dripped coffee is delicious
