You will see the 555 in happy transit along the streets all over town until you actually want to catch one - then it's a bit like waiting for godot.

Every Sat, this place is full of great clothing, jewellery, art and knick-knacks. Heard of the brand Ksubi? Those boys start out selling their distressed jeans right here.
Love the view from North Head back on the Harbour, the City and the Ocean. And sometimes, if you are lucky you might spot a pirate ship!
Park up the Hill a bit and avoid paying for parking. What's a bit of a walk compared to stressing about a fine?
Gorgeous beach/park on the Harbour. Great to relax, swim and watch the boat go past. No waves though.
The Sheaf does a wicked burger, and the 18 Footers Sailing Club is an amazing location for a lovely lunch or dinner on the outdoor deck watching the boats come in!
Great venue for drinking and dining. Very well priced for classy venue. Meal size has big variance. Sheaf burger is a safe bet!

This is the coolest museum ever! There are so many different sections to explore and much of the museum is interactive so you have a great time here. Admission is only $10. Happy times ahead :)

Taking the highlights tour is a good way to get an overview of the small but interesting museum. I think this is also a good intro to Sydney when you 1st arrived.
Get a copy of "The official Sydney guide" at one of the tourist information stands before you come here, it contains a discount coupon. $8 instead of $12 in my case.
