For those that stumble across it, they’ll quickly realise that this place likes to keep things simple, for outside an old painted sign that reads ‘Ale, Cider, Meat’… pretty straight forward, no?

Stand on Waterloo bridge facing the north side of the Thames and just soak up the amazing views of London, taking in the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, through all the wonderful architecture on view.
Until it was rebuilt in 1887, this was London’s last wooden bridge and was the subject of many paintings, including by Turner, Grimshaw and Whistler (statue at north end of bridge).
