Really impressed by quality of the snow and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Go during the week if possible to take full advantage of the uncrowded slope.

This historic library's collection includes the oldest known piece of the New Testament and a 1476 William Caxton edition of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
Great area for food and drink. I recommend Teacup on Thomas St, North Tea Power on Tib st, Sweet Junction on tib st, Northern Quarter restaurant, Thomas, Oi Polloi menswear and Magma on Oldham st.
A wonderful Mansion and 2000 acre deer park.Donated by the last heir of the Egerton family to the National Trust, the park is run by Cheshire East Council, so members still need to pay.
