The sister pub of Dukes in Dundee and Holyrood 9A in Edinburgh. You can be assured a good pint but it will cost you.
Decent table service bar, great ambience, limited draft beer range, and grouchy management. I'm here a lot, I should know :)
James and his team always make you feel welcome. Their pint of tradewinds is magic, same with Guinness. Also, serve great toasties - old school & the best!
Go early for Burger night [Wednesday], and stay until they close because of the grand company. Be sure to have a local pint!

Always has an interesting selection of real ales, which you can try before you buy or you can try three third pints of different ales for £3.50. Their pies are pretty good too.
Great guest ale selection. Ask for samples and get a half pint glass to try more ales per session.
Super setting - lots of little cosy nooks - great spot for a nice meal or drinks with friends!
£15 for a bottle of prosecco, get there before 7 for the perfect post-work drink.
