these donuts are like ghibli creations. so fluffy, delicate, and not too sweet. in a very nice area that's great for wandering around. have been here maybe 4 times :)
unforgettable. book early. gen-san speaks english and lived in new york. seasonally menu and indescribable almost culinary nuances. looks formal but quite a relaxed atmosphere.

couple around the city. full of useful lil knick knacks you never knew you needed. fun to browse to see how the japanese flex their organization skills.
oof. i felt so wholesome after. fun to do a run in the morning here, then head to fuglen and the nata place beside it for a pick me up!
This is an amazing find! Take the little yellow boat to get to the tea house! They serve simple snacks but it's a perfect place to chill on an afternoon.
my happy place. whether you here after a run at yoyogi before for a pourover, or come here at night when they change into a bar for their scandinavian negroni using aquavit, you're in for a treat!

my favourite if you're looking for a temple. less touristy and quiet. they also serve tea and drinks. very contemplative
Incredible cocktails, intimate setting and English-speaking staff who can make thoughtful recommendations. Worth the splurge.
