Off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip! Ethereal, beautiful, picturesque, and unlike anyplace else I have ever been. The highlight of my trip to Savannah.
The "park bench" scene which opens the film Forrest Gump was filmed on the north side of Chippewa Square. The bench was a fiberglass prop, rather than one of the park's actual benches.

Awesome beach ... you can drink in public has long has its in plastic cups. Even if your not drinking , its a good place to go take photos.
Certainly not traditional Scottish food (for a start, their "chips" are seasoned wedges and the menu is mostly American favourites) but it's good quality and comes with friendly service.
The Panchos are a great appetizer to split. Beer selection is awesome, and Jared is a great bartender- very personable and full of helpful information.
Great local bar! Dive bar with peanut shells on the floor, 40oz beers in the brown bag and some really awsome bartenders!
PBR Tallboys during Happy Hour. Make friends, this is the bar your grandfather warned you about. You'll end up living here if you're not careful.
Cheap drinks, interesting crowds, next to the park, and just the right amount of divey. Everything I want in a bar!
Get the dirty chai and relax in the courtyard on a sunny day. Also, all of the tacos are a delicious snack.
If you don't have reservations, try the Tavern downstairs. The Southern Sushi is must, don't let the word "sushi" scare you off, it's delicious! And get some oysters on your salad!
The Shrimp and Grits were off the charts good. Bison braised beef was also very delicious. Extremely friendly and polite staff, wonderful service. I would definitely return when back in Savannah.

Every bite of food was great. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was delightful. Loved it!
Head upstairs to the Perch, their roof top bar. They even have heater for winter lounging.
Come here for ice cream flavors that date back to 1919, like tutti fruitti, lemon custard, and chocolate chewies and cream.
Amazing club nothing like it in Savannah. You don't get in unless you have a key, or are very nice to the door guy
Hear the haunted tales of the historic Moon River Brewery, while enjoying the amazing food and beer. Make sure you try the Wacky Wit beer AND the delicious sweet potato fries and sweet sauce.
The cocktails are good. Highly recommend the Espresso martinis, bloody Mary's, the Jubilee and the Jalapeño lime spritzer.
Take a moment to look around and appreciate the eclectic, historic décor, including the Presidential tribute series above the bar. Try the Beers of Our Fathers!
This is a FANTASTIC place to eat and/or stay! The Haunted Dinner Tour is the best bang for your buck (entree, dessert, and the tour for $30)

If I could rate this place a 10/10, I would. It's expensive, but you get exactly what you pay for. The food is perfect. The service is outstandingly professional and enjoyable. The desert is perfect.
Beetnix has such a cute atmosphere and amazing food. Had an acaí bowl here this morning and it was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is into healthy and trendy foods.
This amazing cafe/restaurant counts with permanent barista in their staff. Talk to them, ask them about the cold brewed coffee, if you are lucky they may even offer a fee sampler.

Rooms facing riverfront are beautiful. In room Starbucks coffee are the perfect amenities! Even the lemonade in the foyer tastes great.
Terrific barbecue! Small space though, very tight if you want to bring toddlers or babies
One of my favorite watering holes while visiting in Savannah. Popular local hangout, late nights can get a bit loud (open mics, DJ's & the like), thus I prefer the laid back happy hour crowd :-)
This high-end dining has such a romantic vibe, and the food is to die for. Try the Shrimp Risotto Cake and the Chocolate Torte! YUM.
