It's like a playground out of Doozer Dome. Kids are constantly building and destroying each others' structures in a constant experiment in controlled chaos.
The water area is amazing, my 3 yo loves it! Don't forget swim suit and water shoes with good traction for the "river."
Great picnic spot without having to go into the city. Amazing waterfront view!
Large water play area with sprinklers and raised platforms with water channels. Great for the kids to run around on a hot day. Located near the Carousel, too.

The sprinklers here are great for toddlers--small streams and always in the shade. And there's tons of space for sidewalk chalk drawing!

Lots of great playgrounds in Prospect Park ... this one has a big old Jack & the Beanstalk type harp statue that's a sprinkler in the summer.
