Try to get their early in the morning, it is the most visited attraction in Ireland and you would be amazed how quickly it fills up! - my fav part is looking out over the city while having a pint :)

You can only see the inside of the castle if you go on a guided tour. The wait is usually 30 minutes or so... if you're not interested in the tour, I still suggest going to see the outside.
Go here if you're trying to avoid any sports coverage. Not a TV in sight and some very good tapas food.
The bar is hidden on the first floor of the hotel. Nice for a quiet pint and a read by the fire. Free wifi too.
Try a pint of Belfast Blonde here. Very refreshing with a nice tang to it. This is the only place in town I've seen it served.
Hit the fish shops just before close 6pm-ish and they'll give you a free bag of minnows and plastic gloves to feed the seals in the harbour.
