Jess L: Gorgeous old carousel that both of my kids love. Get tickets from the concession stand.

Jess L: Get fresh bread from Tartine and Brillat Severin cheese from Bi Rite and die happy.

Jess L: Gorgeous greenery and a nice hike up some stairs. Link together a few of the neighborhood stairways for a little exercise.

Jess L: Amazing cupcakes and pretty affordable to order for a party.

Jess L: Food not so great but the atmosphere is unreal and the drinks are strong. An SF institution worth a visit.

Jess L: Surprisingly serene spot in the middle of downtown. I love the sculptures, the slides, and the carousel.

Jess L: Chocolate chip sea salt is delicious with the biggest chocolate chips I've ever seen!

Jess L: Delicious banana bread. Want to return for the avocado smash!

Jess L: The cruffles are perfect little bites to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Jess L: Come when they open to avoid extremely long waits for brunch.

Jess L: $13 for a 6 beer flight! Great deal and great beer.

Jess L: Lovely little spot to take in views of the city. At least one very friendly cat in the neighborhood may come say hello if you linger.

Jess L: Renovated and now the home of City Arts & Lectures. Great location, beautiful theater.

Jess L: Art changes regularly so worth revisiting even if you've been there before.

Jess L: Sing a longs are so much fun!
