A Puerto Rican diner/restaurant popular with locals. Pork and fried are the name of the game here: chicharrones are fatty and crisp, and the mofongo is the best we've had in the Bronx.
Best fried chicken in Manhattan. Go with a group and also try the smothered chicken and pork chops. All the sides are excellent, especially the greens. And don’t skip that cornbread!
The noodles here are excellent though a bit pricier than what you could get in Chinatown, but in return you're also getting friendly service and a clean decor.
Get the meat + veggie combo or just the veggie combo. Can't really go wrong. Any cuisine that encourages eating with one's hands is my kind of cuisine. Also, honey wine = ❤️.
The chicken momos are perfectly seasoned and juicy. The rice donuts are gluten free and the handmade breads are all made by nice old ladies in the back.
Shawarma and falafels were great. Good value for the quality of food. Meat is cooked very well, marinaded well.

The seating place barely holds 12 people and you have to wait in a narrow hallway. Expect to wait for a seat especially on the weekends. The beef momos (dumplings) are good.
Kosher Georgian restaurant with separate meat and dairy kitchens. The meaty fare is just alright, but the cheesy breads are quite good.
