As someone who grew up next to a sushi bar in LA and has been a connoisseur since 5, I can say that this is by-far the best sushi I've had in NYC. Sit at the bar and order omakase and a nice saké.
Solid fish, skillfully prepared. The menu has many crowd-pleasing options like crispy rice with maguro tuna, but I'd stick to nigiri. I recommend ordering scallop sushi with shiso leaf and sea salt.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Sit at the bar, order a nice saké and eat until you're full. Okra, mushrooms, grilled fish and crab are all a must.
