The oldest pub in London, RE-built in 1666 after a lil fire- and it's barely been touched since. Twain, Dickens and Conan Doyle were regulars at various points and my late grandfather used to run it
Looks like a pub from the outside, but inside it's a charming little restaurant serving some of the best traditional English food I've had in all of London.
Get the spider rolls! Delicious green tea also. Total gem - very affordable, and excellent quality!!
Seek out Utobeer - a remarkable beer stall with over 600 options. They're also in cahoots with the nearby (and excellent) Rake pub.
