Booked through Hotel Tonight so got a mediocre room. That said, bed was incredibly comfortable, room was quiet, shower was nice. If you’re staying downtown it’s a good bet.

Very cool. I was never an astronomy buff but coming here won me over. Interesting films about the history of NASA and goals for future. Take a tram ride to explore the large, detailed campus.
Worth having the AAdvatage card to use these clubs. Clean, quiet places with an assortment of cheeses, hummus, desserts, drinks, and newspapers. Plenty of outlets to charge laptops and devices.

Enormous zoo can be overwhelming! Take the bus tour and ride the tram and then pick and choose. Orangutans are cool. Aviaries are beautiful.
Nice views, comfortable bed, quiet room, good fitness center and pool. Convenient to walk to the marina or Gaslamp. Can't go wrong.

Open, airy, restaurant with a nice view into the kitchen. Go for the Chef's Board and the Burrata plate. Both excellent, and food is good all around.
Here's a thought. Instead of doing tons of construction all over the Marina, driving everyone crazy - knock this outdated mess down and modernize over here!

Very popular - almost always a wait. I got the Eggwich which would've been better if it were cooked more thoroughly. Seems like the Benedicts and the French Toast are the ways to go.
Pretty area to sit and have lunch or a coffee in the Marina. Seems to always have a nice ocean breeze passing through.
