Personally, I think Korean cuisine is the most flavourful and diverse. Want to try something new? I guarantee you won't go wrong following this list of my top picks for Korean food in Vancouver.
I R: My favourite Korean restaurant in Vancouver, possibly even better than some of the Korean restaurants in Korea. The quality, and flavours here really stand out. The galbi (short ribs) are awesome.
I R: Korean soul food. Fried pork cutlet, rice, coleslaw, gravy. What more can you ask for? Well, the kimchi fried rice, and the kimchi jjigae (soup) are also very very good.
I R: Their ddeok-guk (rice cake soup) is the best I've tasted in Vancouver. They do the traditional Korean quite well. The pan fried mackerel (Godeungeoh-gui) is tasty.
I R: Brave? Try the Buldak Chicken - the menu says "the spicy cannot be controlled" so don't say they don't warn you. It comes with gloves, and it's incredibly spicy, but really delicious.
