Offbeat L.A.1月 29, 2016Opened in 1969. Diner food. Homemade pie. Once a chain that had 32 in So Cal alone, this is the last one standing.

There is an early bird breakfast menu. Good food for a great price. Get there before 11:00 AM and they have Cholula Salsa for your eggs. :)

Who can say no to pie after all? Go for the fresh strawberry cream (seasonal) but it's all good
cassie vail yeager9月 15, 2011The cream pies are delicious. If you get the right server at night he gives us a free slice. I like the Bavarian chocolate and banana cream pie- Chocolate cream and coconut cream pies are amazing! Get them to go and rest them in Griffith Park for a great view!
Celebrate yourself! Skip the "real food" and help yourself to a pie for dinner. It is, after all, one of the many perks of adulthood.
The fresh peach pie is only available around July and August. And it almost always sells out by the time the evening comes along.
Daniel Iwao9月 4, 2010I've been a life long House of Pie'er. This place will give you a heart attack! Fav is Turkey, Avocado, Bacon sandwich but get rid of 3rd slice of bread in middle.
The decor feels like a Denny's, but no complaints on the pie selection!

If you can't be bothered to fold your own pancakes in half, order the crépe!
The peanut butter cream pie made my tastebuds sob with absolute joy. A MUST try if you're a pb fan.
