There are great trails outside of large ring in woods. Great for off leash and river running by to swim in!

An escape nestled on the Riverfront Downtown. Stop by at dusk for an amazing fountain show in Bicentennial Park.

One of my favorite places to run - nice shade, 2-mile loops. Watch out for those stumps and grooves in the paths though.

This place is beautiful and has potential to be a decent course. Fairways are way too narrow and you will spend 20 mins looking for your disc each hole because of the insane brush everywhere
On the last weekend in June you can find all of the freaky people and lot's of good music here. Comfest is great!

You'll probably want to avoid the pet trail if it has rained/snowed for 2 days in a row. It can get extremely muddy & sloppy compared to the rest of the main trail.
In the wet season, the dam gates are open and there is a viewing area off of Central College road that puts you about 100 feet from the falling water.
Park has been updated since we've last been here! So many cool things for the kids to play on! :)

This park is never crowded, and perfect for smaller kids who don't like being trampled by the junior high crowd
Take your time and relax. Enjoy watching the deer, birds, and other little critters.
Try hiking the trails in late fall or winter. You get a different perspective of the landscape without all the vegetation. Also, being the 1st to hike here after a snowfall is an amazing experience.
Head over to Schiller Park to see the famous Umbrella Girl statue, have a picnic, hike or participate in many of its recreational activities!

Trails didn't seem like much but it has a rock climbing area if you have your own climbing equipment.
Gets crowded around 5, when everyone is getting off work. Go early to get a good route.
Great trails for just about any activity. Keep an eye out for deer and other wildlife.
