Great food but always incredibly slow no matter what. Even Seamless takes an hour for a salad.
EAT A PRETZEL CROISSANT. NOW. If you need a cookie, as well, get a chocolate-chocolate chip one, not the regular chocolate chip kind; the latter taste ickily greasy, unless they're hot from the oven.

One of the best sandwich shops in NYC – definitely treat yourself to a slow roasted pork sandwich and a beer while enjoying their outdoor space.
It's true. They skimp on the rice now. However, they still put a good amount of other stuff and when I asked for more sour cream they gave me another good spoonful.
Vietnamese Chicken Broth is where it's at... Best of all, cilantro in almost every dish!
Schnipper's is basically the no-brainer option if the line at Shake Shack is too long (which is often when the weather is nice). The food is tasty, the service is fast and the options are great.
This tasty, dependable neighborhood spot is a nice pick for a work lunch lobster roll. It is never amazing but it is good and will never offend anyone.

Sit at the counter and enjoy the best Philly Cheese Steak outside of Philly! Also good are the hot pastrami sandwich and the egg cream.
