Vada pav excellent. Came with 2 distinct buns (some places join them). Patty had good taste & texture & slight crisp. Bun had slight crisp & oily skin (from griddle), just like a street hawker.
Vada pav: slight crisp. Potato patty tasty, a bit but not too chunky. Very spicy with sauces, served with toasted coconut shreds. You can get just 1 - many other places have a minimum order of 2.
Vada pav: in 2s. Proper bun (touch dry) & vada a bit crispy. Unfortunately the potato inside was in large chunks: it wasn't mashed properly. Vada tasted ok though on the blander side yet rather spicy
Vada pav came with a cold hamburger bun (ugh). Vada itself ok-tasting & inside had right texture (mashed), but it was very spicy yet not crispy. Sauces ok. Cutting chai was ok. It wasn't sweetened.
I've had vada pav in 7 places in the GTA - this is the first to ask my desired spice level. I went for medium (standard) & it was a good level.
They have chickoo lassi / shake in summer. They're even cheaper than the Kennedy outlet for some items.
Vada pav: wrong bun but great. Big, flavourful, grilled bun so slight crisp & was a bit oily. Patty good texture & taste, quite crispy. Not too spicy, on sweeter side. You can get just 1. Nice onions
Had the vada pav. The bun & patty were crispy. The patty had a good texture, with some bigger chunks of potato. The patty itself tasted OK & there was some diced onions which was nice. Sauce was bad
Vada pav pretty good. Both bun & patty crispy. Patty pretty tasty & chutney pretty good. Vada pav was spicy, but not too spicy. Interestingly it was served with plain potato chips & sliced onion.
"Jumbo" vada pav in burger bun. Patty not crispy because premade & cold, still tasted OK. Chutneys nice. Patty potato a bit coarse but still ok. Spiciness of the dish hit in aftertaste especially hard
The seasonal chickoo milkshake $6.99 was good: it had a good flavour that was pretty concentrated. They have vada pav, but it's from the fridge.
Got a Vada pav at medium spiciness. The patty was too salty & a bit too small for the bun (it used a burger bun). But the bun & patty were fresh. The bun was crisp
