Amusements as well as the historical element of the Pier will bring back memories of what the destination was known for in the late 1940s. The Sea Dragon ride gives you a great view of the island! 続きを見る
Pleasure Pier is a great addition to the island. It can be kind of expensive though. After eating lunch, paying for rides and games and snacks and drinks throughout the day, I spend close to $100.
Getting there an hour before sunset was the best idea. Not as hot & the lights are spectacular. Make sure to book your Bubba Gumpreservation well in advance though. We were told it was a 2 hr wait!
You have to pay to get in no matter what, but if you get the day pass for rides, it is totally worth it. I spent all day there with my dad and 4-year-old sister and never ran out of things to do.
The pier is an amusement park so you pay admission even if you don't ride just like other amusement parks. However they do offer a discounted price of $10 if you don't want to ride.
Come early to avoid the lines & heat. Free shuttle from San Luis Resort saves on parking fees for guests. Also ask hotel for VIP card to avoid line for tickets.
I agree with $10 to enter because if it was free then everybody would be complaining that wait for rides is too long. Also the restaurant across the street will validate parking for first 3 hours.
Way overpriced. Go North to Austin and go to Six Flags instead. It's only $44.99 if you buy your tickets online and you get tons of rides and games. Not $26.99 for 10 rides and 5 games.
#MoneyTrap Not worth it especially if you've been to Ocean City, MD/Seaside, NJ etc ... $10 to just walk on pier + parking ... then add games, rides & food? Rip off. Tiny place.
Most overpriced pace on planet Earth!!! $5 per ride???!?! That's outrageous! $10 just to get in and then $5 per ride, so you do the math... Packed is a understatement! Not worth it at all!
Featuring waterfront fun and entertainment like no other Gulf Coast destination, the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier features family-oriented attractions including rides, midway games, a wide selection of food venues and retail shops...
