    Great food, great service and kid friendly. I had the nouveau South Austin burger. Delicious. The kids enjoyed playing on the play equipment while we enjoyed the sun.

    The best place to hang out with friends, have a beer, and kick back. I have yet to encounter an outdoor patio bar with as much awesomeness as Freddie's.

    So apparently hitting 100 degrees at anytime during the day doesn't warrant $1.00 margs... only if it 100 degrees at the time and ..oh did you know the thermometer is in the shade? Just saying. ....

    1/2 price apps all day Monday, 4-7 tu-fri. Play washers, have a lone star, chicken n waffles and a moon pie sundae at this dog-friendly joint. This is an outside place, not worth the visit inside.

    Loved the outside area! Great, cheap breakfast and wasn't packed like Magnolia Cafe or Kerbey Lane!

    There is a variety of fried things that Freddie's serves that go swimmingly with waffles, so do that. Eat them waffles up.

    Outside is wonderful. Great playground for the kids. I love sitting outside under the trees during a light rain, they usually keep you dry

    The only thing Freddie's is missing is a fenced in area so the dogs can play in so you can eat.

    Half-price burgers when it's too hot (over 70 degrees) or too cold out. Happy hour has half-price appetizers which are a great deal.

    Bads: Service was horrible. Slow & couldn't answer basic questions. Sweet potato fries...meh. Green bean casserole really disappointing. Goods: Chicken Philly...yum! Cute patio that is dog friendly.
