Very large airport with many shopping options, but a small food selection. Easy to navigate, but a lot of walking required.

Oğuz A.10月 30, 2017A disappointment in terms of shopping choices and operations. 2 passport checks at arrival (first one just outside of the plane) must have been designed as additional deterrent. Small choice of shops.
Angespannte Atmosphäre, gestresstes unfreundliches Flughafenpersonal, Angestellte in Cafes ebenso barsch und trotzig!

If you arrive at Z69 to Z64 and are connecting at an "A" gate sometimes you can go through passport control down a hallway to the left. Look for an A sign. There usually is no line.- Wehe dem der hier nachts strandet!! Nach 0:00h zieht die Servicewüste Deutschland auch hier ein. Alle Shops und Schalter sind verwaist und Traveller werden Ihrem Schicksal überlassen
Tip of the day: they have so good scanning systems, even your jeans buttons won't pass them! Wear a sport wears :)

Antony Hell3月 15, 2015If you need to work, or charge your laptop/smartphone you can do it with lots of outlets and usb chargers- My home airport: huge, long walks, unhelpful counter staffs, plenty of in-needed stores, and just a commodity one uses out of necessity.
Если есть карта Miles and More, то используйте её в Duty Free. Можно будет использовать мили для оплаты, а за покупку начислят дополнительные мили. Profit!

Go for the German Wines available at the Duty Free shop. Great selection and best cost/benefit deal.
Absolutely the worst airport I have been to in Europe. Due to inefficient passport control and security checkpoint I missed my connection flight which had two hours between. Avoid this airport.
