Hands down best family restaurant in town! Great beers on tap, yummy burgers & salads...& AWESOMELY friendly staff!
David W8月 23, 2015Their burgers and their "grilled cheese of the week" are decent. But for an ale house the know very little about beer. The waitstaff can't answer questions about the beer beyond what is on the board.
The two times I have been to the First Street Alehouse, they have had Russian River, Pliny the Elder on draft. The food is good and the selection of beer is very good!

Friendly place to hang out & watch a game. Best burgers around. Great food & beer selections. Thursday is pint night.
Always busy - and everybody gets a Tootsie Pop when they eat here. Look for the big kids and the little kids on the street and you know who just ate at the Alehouse.
Black and blue salad is the bomb...half order plenty and John is an awesome server very attentive... ;)
Thurs nites 5 to midnite PINT night. Super busy but food and beer are worth the wait. Want to skip wait, go early in week for lunch. 1/2 pints also avail.

CrysD1月 10, 2014Try the Pyramid Apricot Ale while your here.... Support the surrounding area it's from Berkeley, Ca!- If you're feeling bad... The hot pastrami is amazing. Garlic parm fries are a must and their seasonal Santa Cruz ale is tasty!

Keep it simple -original Alehouse burger with cheese and the Scrimshaw Pilsner draught.
If you're coming with a big group, plan on waiting a while to get seated. Especially if there's a big game in tv.
You can get a side of soup instead of fries or salad for 1.99 and it's a HUGE! Good w/ grilled cheese.- David is the funniest server and great at catching annoying flies and dispensing them...he rocks
Don't get the calamari appetizer. Real dud, but the veggie spring rolls and chili are good.
Sweet potato fries and Watermelon Wheat on the patio... Best summer evening thing in Livermore.

Carnitas sando is amazing. Make sure you ask for a side if the pepper sauce.
Salad? Yes, the "Black & Blue" TriTip and Bleu cheese and an IPA...get this!
One of the best burgers in the east bay. Huge selection on tap, great venue to hang out.
