Finding Our Feet Blog: Exactly what the area needs - fantastic coffee, delicious cakes. Run by an Italian family; child & baby friendly (not a lot of room for pushchairs though so bring bambinos in a sling!)

Finding Our Feet Blog: Wonderful; brilliant food (brunch especially), good coffee, loads for kids to do with animals & play area. All volunteer run with regular events: 100% worth a visit. Highchairs & changing facilities.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Great farm with lots of animals roaming around. The shop/cafe have never been open when I've gone, but a hop, skip & a jump from Brick Ln/Spitalfields it's perfectly placed for a family day out.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Brilliant museum documenting the history of childhood and toys through the ages with interactive displays and lots of events. Benugo's cafe on Ground Floor with highchairs and changing facilities.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Excellent food (try the Canadian breakfast!) & coffee. Very family friendly w/ the farm and baby music classes on a Wednesday 10am & 11am. But very busy at weekends. Highchairs & changing facilities.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Multiple play areas for young kids and QE Park out back. Parent/baby rooms on every floor in centre of mall, in M&S and John Lewis make this the most relaxed shopping experience I've had as a parent!

Finding Our Feet Blog: Absolutely fantastic local cinema. Great selection of movies and events. Sunday mornings there's a kids club for 18 months+, only £4 per ticket. Well worth a visit. Changing facilities available.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Huge fields tucked away in SE London. Loads of animals, lots to see and do - well worth a visit. Cafe isn't any great shakes but big picnic area with highchairs & changing facilities.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Our absolute favourite place to visit as a family, whatever the weather. Little Miss loves exploring the hundreds of paths through the woods & it's so quiet you forget you're in London. Fantastic.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Brilliant. So well thought out; even the stairs to the slide are 1/2 height so littl'uns can manage on their own. Can never get LM to leave! (FYI cafe not great.) Check website for events/story times.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Fantastic place to bring the family. Two playgrounds, two cafes, duck pond & boating pond. Rent boats from £10/30mins (West lake). Great way to spend a day. 10-15mins walk from Mile End tube station.

Finding Our Feet Blog: Great educational kids' area including free soft play with some age specific times (check/book online). Small cafe with highchairs and buggy park. 1min walk to West India Quay DLR station with a lift.
