Evan Thornton: Amazingly, more than half a century after it closed, the anchor points for the Rexy's marquee are still visible as faint outlines above the sign for the Vietnamese grocery now occupying the location.
Evan Thornton: Operated from 1943 to 1991, though by the end of its existence it was known as The Phoenix. Nicknamed the "Rat Hole" because of a rodent infestation. Now a parking lot.
