Love that Ennju has all the best Japanese treats in one grab-and-go spot. Miso soup bar and boxed edamame are good; $1 mochi ice cream is great.

Great place to meet friends for a casual dinner, since you pay at the counter and people can roll in as they please. I always go for the brown rice rolls: Alaska and Spicy Salmon are my faves.

You really gotta get here around 8:40pm for the half-price sushi boxes. Grab your boxes from the fridge and jump in the awkward line.

Cheap Japanese fast food (kind of) restaurant in a good location. Get sushi, raw fish salad and Miso or Hot Miso for your choice. Miso was OK👌🏼

Tried the Salmon Skin Don special on Tuesday and it was delicious! Came with a soup which made it a decent meal under $10. Definitely going back to try more of the menu!

Love this super understated Japanese cantine. Food is delicious and quite copious. Hard to spot if no one has ever told you about it!

Bargain for the serving size. Most of the dons (oyako don is great) can probably serve two. Some happy hour drink specials (giant Asahi for $4) too though super low key vibes.

Ennju serves up Japanese eats at bargain-basement prices. Get katsudon: it's made to order out of pork cutlets that are fried and served with rice and eggs cooked up with scallions

My new go to place for a quick sushi fix. Yellow tail scallion rolls are always amazing and ikura, my favorite, is always fresh. Comfortable laid back neighborhood joint.

Get katsudon w/ miso soup-a nicely fried pork cutlet cut in strips, mired in an oniony egg omelet w/ a salty tang, & deposited on a big bowl of white rice. Satisfying meal, & you'll be out in 15 mins

Toasted brown tea tastes like the crunchy part of everything good and warm. And anyway you get an entire kettle.

Cheap, tasty and fresh sushi. Alaska roll - 8 pieces $6 (inc tax). Atmosphere is canteen style and squishy so it's better 'to go'.

Never got sushi from here, always went with their katsu dishes and soups. They do a really, really great curry katsu with a really good, thick, beef curry. Could easily make up two meals.

Ennju is fast, inexpensive and good sushi! Get the hello kitty treats. There's a bathroom in the back FYI.

I always get their Udon Noodle soup. Seafood or steak is best, wouldn't recommend the chicken for any plate.

Cheap, quick, casual Japanese food. Ramen, soba, chicken and rice and sushi, nice staff.

The chirashi is a good deal... $10, and a ton of fish. A good size for a meal.

Salad bar/buffet has delicious, unusual food and is pretty cheap. I got lunch for under $6. Will have to be back soon.

Sushi to go is affordable and fresh. LOVE their avocado salad as well with Asian inspired dressing for less than $10

Bowls were big portions, price was cheap. Will be back next time I'm in the neighborhood.

For it's location this place offers great value for the price of their meal!

this is like the japanese equivalent of of those convenient-store/eateries that sell beer, hot food, & cold sandwiches with a seating area full of people napping with straws in cans of malt liquor.
