This cable ferry is the only one operating on the Potomac River. It is named after Confederate General Jubal A. Early. Call ahead, ice or heavy rain can close the ferry.
Make sure to venture off to the dessert area. The cake donut was actually pretty good. I really liked the salmon. If you stay at MGM ask for a comp!
Sat in the front row, definitely one of the scariest (and funnest!) rides I've been on in a while.
