Unkoordinierte Bundespolizei sorgt auch schon mal dafür, dass sich 200 Reisende nach 1h Anstellen erst einmal „auflösen“ sollen wg eines vergessenen Koffers, kein Roboter oder Spürhund in Sicht.

if have stopover minimum 3 hours: take a taxi to Duesseldorf Kaiserswerth. nice spot on Rhine river for a little walk and some german food (try Tonhalle restaurant close to railway tracks)
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door: 1- Hugo Junkers Lounge (B)= 27€. 2- Open Sky Lounge (C) = 27€

If you have a morning international connecting flight, then you better hurry to the immigration counter. The no. of people queued up are (usually) far more than the no. of officers at the counter.
Netter, kleiner Flughafen. E-Gates für die Passkontrollen könnten morgens früher aufmachen.
Not best, but not worst airport neither. No free wifi anymore so fly often and get access to business lounge with blackjack and hookers (read as beer and internet connection free of charge).

People at reception in Lufthansa's lounge are a pain! Because of a strike booked to 6h earlier flight thus way too early for first meeting, but not allowed in lounge because I arrived (not departing).

Große Auswahl an Shops um sich die Zeit bis zum Boarding zu vertreiben.

При вылете Tax-Free можно получить ДО прохождения каких-либо досмотров и сдачи багажа, потом запаковать все покупки и не тащить их с собой. Таможенники проверяют всё в метре от стойки Global Blue.

Unfassbare Zustände bei der Sicherheitskontrolle. Wartezeit ohne Priority mind. 2 Stunden. Auch nach Monaten bekommt der Flughafen das Problem nicht in den Griff. Ein Armutszeugnis!! 😡😡😡

Shop at arrival area at Rewe... 😂 and the lounge is better than before....
