Great place to get a pretzel & sit outside by the fountains; note that the indoor food court area next door has been closed for a while, and bathrooms are on the complete opposite end of the mall.
Easily accessible from the Lightrail station, this museum features some of the best education exhibits in Arizona. It has hosted "Body Worlds" multiple times among other equally fascinating subjects.

The holiday lights are fantastic. But get there early or you'll have a long line.
Only open on Saturdays & Sundays for about 4 hrs but it's free to walk around the yard and you are allowed to take pictures.
