Go to Despana and get the Picante sandwich: "chorizo picante", mahon cheese, piparras (basque spicy guindilla peppers), tomatoes, aioli sauce. Amazingly good and spicy.

This tapas joint brought gazpacho with serrano ham shavings, and their own Despana brand chorizo to Choice Eats- both were especially tasty!

This is quickly turning into my go-to lunch spot. Any of the bocadillos rival what you'd find in Barcelona. Also, you could fill yourself up on FREE SAMPLES of chorizo & cheese alone - amuse bouche!

Go to DeSpaña and taste the quality Spanish imports. The store always has a variety of samples available to try and a very inviting shop in the back preparing tapas

Our concierge Paul at 60 Thompson recommends the Gallego sandwich. The Arzua Ulloa cheese goes perfectly with the Serrano ham.
