Head into the Lower Level of the Hamilton Building and check out Herbert Bayer's pieces. A transplant from the Bauhaus and an amazing graphics/painter, all collected at the DAM.
The concourse that connects to the library on LL level has some wonderful Native Amaerican photography of present works.
- Fillipino Lippi had trained under Botticelli. A Lippi hangs next to a 3/4 self portrait done by Botticelli on floor 6. Come see it!!!

Ashley Pritchard6月 24, 2011Wish I had an iPhone to download the DAM's new app DAM_SCOUT. Look for a QR code to scan and uncover hidden content.- Nam June Paik's artwork called "Electronic Fish" is the oldest piece of the BLINK Exhibition. Come see it before May 1st.
- Linda Sormin's work is the piece in Hamilton building Lobby. How many ceramic techniques can you identify?

- Don't forget to look at the Herbert Bayer collection located on the LL level of the Hamilton building.
- ARGUS, WILLY &LUCKY had once been in the rose garden of the Clintons while they were In presidency come to the DAM and find out who and where they are!
- The "City of Splendor" opens soon get the catalog thats sold in the gift shops of museum.

Clover7月 7, 2010After going to the King Tut exhibit, take the kids to the area where they get to dress up as pharaohs and make Egyptian collars. Cute and fun.
Albert Bierstadt's Estes Park painting is currently on loan to the museum through 2010. See it on the 7th floor in the Western Art Collection.
Pay attention. You might spy one of the artists roaming the museum.- Fentress Architecture on airports opens July 2012. come on board to see it!!

- Mothers day is around the corner take mom to floor 6 to see Mary Cassett's PATTY- CAKE (mother and child)
