Seaport Village was built on landfill where the Spanish expedition of 1782 buried those who had died of scurvy. In later years, it served as a railroad yard to send items east that arrived by ship.

Ask for the airport shuttle sign up sheet. And make sure you have a room on the third floor away from the highway.
