Here are some of our favorite greasy (and not-so greasy) spoons in the hotbed called Hell's Kitchen. Put these restaurants on your to-do list whenever you're in the area - morning, noon and night.
The Corcoran Group: This place is always packed! Skip the meal and go straight for the perfect cheesecake! Dive into a slice of the Original or the Carrot Cake Cheesecake.
The Corcoran Group: One of the few remaining greasy spoons in the neighborhood. Enjoy typical diner food with your typical diner service. Great after a late night out.
The Corcoran Group: Very touristy but totally fun…like walking into a show tune from the 1950’s with singing waiters. If only the food were as enjoyable as the atmosphere.

The Corcoran Group: Get a traditional diner-rific breakfast all day long – our favorite is the French Toast with 2 Eggs and a Side of Bacon. Try a smoothie too. Open 24/7!
The Corcoran Group: Step into the 1960’s at this delightful and eclectic diner – even better when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. The egg sandwich is divine.
The Corcoran Group: Grab a table outside and people watch while your friendly and attentive (and cute) waiter serves you Risotto Croquettes and Adobe Salad. Have a cocktail too!
The Corcoran Group: Modern, clean and friendly diner with the most amazing Chicken Vegetable Soup. The also offer discounts if you show your ticket from one of the Theater Row theaters.
The Corcoran Group: We absolutely adore this campy and upscale diner. Start with a Kung Fu Fighting and followed by the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Then visit Dolly in the bathroom!
The Corcoran Group: Very old-school family-run Diner with the most endearing owners! Typical diner food is highlighted by a deliciously buttery and salty Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

The Corcoran Group: This is one of the best and friendliest little diners in the area. Check out their desserts, especially the Coconut Custard Pie and the German Chocolate Cake.
The Corcoran Group: A better atmosphere and menu than your traditional mirrored diner. Try the Pork Chops or the Grilled Seafood Special. And have a drink, they’re pretty potent.
The Corcoran Group: The decor is a little outdated, but totally cute, the staff are very friendly and the food is cooked perfectly – try the Buffalo Wings and the Cheeseburger Deluxe.
The Corcoran Group: Sit in the front of the restaurant to people watch while you eat. Then dive into one of the most extensive breakfast menus around – Pastrami & Egg Sandwich anyone?
The Corcoran Group: Unassuming diner makes you feel like you’re eating at a neighbor’s home. The food is surprisingly good – try the corned beef hash with home fries or the pancakes.
