Laura M9月 5, 2016The black bean cakes are delicious wether you are vegan or not. The 1905 salad is a must! Leave space for the bread! Best cuban bread ever and trust me I am cuban! :)

Chris Wright4月 19, 2013The 1905 salad is famous and not bad in a retro kind of way. But if you order it, make sure you ask for the Cuban bread and butter on the side. Amazing crusty bread, great butter too. Yummy.

Donna12月 24, 2014Skip the 1905 salad unless you like a lot of dressing and iceberg lettuce. The bread here is awesome and so is the Cuban. Get table side Sangria mixings and enjoy the people watching.
Mike A.6月 5, 2012OMG!!! This is one of the best Cuban restaurants we have been to. Make sure you try the Palomilla (flank steak), and ask for Daniella from Argentina as your server. She was the best.

A Sarasota classic, used to be much better but the 1905 salad and the Palomilla are delicious. Dont count on the service to be friendly or prompt, but the atmosphere is lovely and worth it.

Carlos is the best waiter!! So nice & funny! Ask for him if you go here. You won't be disappointed.
