If the travellers visit Hanoi, so you should make a short trip around Hanoi Old Quarter. Especially, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the evening, you will have chance to enjoy Hanoi Night market.

You can visit the pagoda mausoleum & museum in 1 visit as it is in the same compound. This pagoda is famous for people who wish for a baby boy, they'd come put their offerings & touch the stone lotus.
Get at the square arround 9pm! Guards will take flage down, and if you are lucky, sometimes they will fold it into flower shape! ^^ Worth to see, if you like stuff like this! At 6am they rise the flag
One should never miss walking around Hoan Kiem when in Hanoi. you can see old folks doing tai chi & qi gong in the morning and around sunset. the willow and bending trees make for a good background

Great place for foreigners, wanting to try something special in Hanoi! Coffee with egg can sound creepy, but if you will try that sweet treat once, you will fall in love!! Good prices too!! ^^
my favourite place to get the view of hanoi... go around 4pm and stay till 7pm... u will see day view and night view of most of HANOI..
So nice and quiet with a lovely view of the lake. Great mocktails and coffee, good service. Go through the SPF store and take the elevator to get to the cafe.
Very lousy music, and the area around DJ is for VIP, no entrance for others. Rather good in the area, but not really that good.
If you're in Hanoi, try this place for lunch. Just sit down and let them bring you fish with all the stuff that goes with it! Delicious.
Lovely vintage French villa and delicious authentic Vietnamese food! Must tries: fried prawn with salt and pepper, roasted chicken with wild honey, Cha Ca!!
Oops - go to the one at 14 Cha Ca. That's the original. If you go at all - what was once a family run, culinary haven is now a bit of a tourist trap and has lost its warmth.
Local place. Good food. Be prepared you'll get the smell of grilled fish after eating. Good for groups.
