Come tell different texture than you may be used to if your familiar with Italian ice. Chocolate was delicious.
Great place for all pet supplies. The prices here definitely beat out the big box pet stores. A 30lb bag of Wellness dog food is consistently $6 to $8 cheaper than Petco.
Fun to go for the night with the kids. Quality rides. The ticket packages are decent and it is nice that they never expire.
Great old time neighborhood ice cream joint. Friendly staff and old school summertime memories drip from this place like an ice cream cone in the hot summer sun.
Such a great neighborhood bar. I find myself wishing I lived in the area so I could get here more often. The type of pub that you could easily spend an entire day at and wonder where the time went.

Great park and awesome pools. Those pools have provided countless memory to my family and I from swim lessons to watching my children do there first leap off the high diving board.
Beautiful small yacht club. I attended a party there and am not a member spin can't speak for there at but it was a quaint little gem in the middle of Amityville.
Who could not love the City by the Sea. Fun and eclectic seaside community that really is a small city on the sea. Great restaurants and beautiful beaches. Easily accessible from LIRR.
Best beach in Long Beach. Family oriented and peaceful. Away from the crowds. Limited parking so get there early.
Great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Great healthy menu as well. Get there early in the summer because the lines can stretch out the door. If the locals like it it's gotta be good.
Great rowing facility. Queens location for RowNY. Nice location for a walk, bike ride, run, or picnic.

Stayed there Mother's Day weekend to attend NY State Rowing Championship Regatta. Very pleasant and helpful staff and although not walking distance to town it is very very close.
