Dean McVey: Less gastropub, more restaurant with beer. One of the city’s best chefs has this as his pet project. Duck leg confit is wow! Soft play and kid friendly staff mean this is a good ‘coverall’ location.
Matt Taylor: Beautiful gardens that are totally free to visit all year round. Greenhouses, if you are interested, are worth the extra money too, it's not just one tiny room but a whole sprawling area.
Edgar E: The statue is just in front of the Greyfriars Bobby bar but also make sure to bring/leave Bobby a stick at his memorial stone just within the cemeter.
Annabelle Binnerts: Lots of choice! Every square inch in this bookshop is filled with books. Wide range of choice from classics to the more modern kind of books.
Jonas Neubert: Awesome Flat White! Really nice and pretty interior, beautiful place to relax, drink your coffee and enjoy the atmosphere or just to grab your cup on the walk.
Heather Tumshi: If you pay £3 you get a certificate saying you climbed 287 steps to the top. The views are stunning just make sure you go on a clear day and take a camera.
Richard Street: Beetroot & Tomato soup & a salmon & crowdie sandwich were delicious. All fresh ingredients and sourced from Scotland. A great wee place just off the Royal Mile!
