- Beautiful classic modern Chinese interior with authentic flavored dishes! One of the best lunch deal in the TriBeCa area. Came here with 5 colleagues and shared everything and it was delicious!!!
- Chenyu2月 4, 2016You will feel like being in old shanghai. Try Crab soup dumplings, rice cake,Vietnamese coffee, BBQ pork bun, west lake fish , sweet lotus root & matcha green tea ice cream from DrGreen of Brooklyn
- pork soup buns, cucumber salad, shredded beef & chili, kung pao chicken, dumplings in chili oil. skip the fried rice & noodles (entrees come w rice anyway). cocktails are unique- all worth a try.
- Elvis Rodricks4月 13, 2016The shredded beef with asian chilies is the real things! Smart casual setting and very very and knowledgable staff. Great spot to dine n get away from the hustle of the city.
- Alex Tsu5月 23, 2017Beautiful restaurant paired with incredible food. Loved their rice cake, yan du xian, and soy scallion noodles. Mom, when you come to NYC, I'm taking you here!
- Chenny D5月 6, 2015This place is so 老上海! Love it because it really connects western and Shanghainese! The ambience really mimics what Shanghai looks like during the 40s. Had 上海菜泡饭 咸蛋黄年糕!yum yum! Will come back!
- Jean Tran2月 23, 2016Soup dumping is really gingery, so if you're a ginger lover like me, you're Gucci ;) The lion's head stew is 😘👌🏼 and garlic eggplant is bomb.com. Must try the crunchy eel things—They're like crack!
- Zoe6月 9, 2018Pork soup dumplings, Steamed veggie dumplings, Bokchoy Shredded beef, Kung Pao chicken are all great. They go a little heavy on their sauces, so ask for light sauce. Chili oil is not spicy whatsoever.
- Absolutely love it! It is a quiet oasis in the middle of the city. You feel immediately transported by the decor and food is so good you will want to go back for more. Try Three Cup Chicken.
- Carlos Sanchez6月 28, 2016An absolute gem of a restaurant. Ambience was marvelous - felt like being transported into a Wong Kar Wai film. For food, strongly recommend the fish blossom & crab soup buns - absolutely succulent.
- Kevin O'Neill9月 2, 2017You know it’s good when the place is tucked away in a hidden area in TriBeCa and it’s packed all the time. No straight recos other than try all the traditional Chinese dishes.
- Gavin6月 23, 2015China Blue's a hidden little gem in Tribeca that has some pretty amazing food. It is pricey compared to other chinese resturants in chinatown, but you're paying for the environment here.
- Daniel Douglas1月 20, 2017Perfect. Serene ambiance: Shanghai 1936. Food: exquisite down-home high-end flavours. Genial service. Authentic ambosial drinks.
- CJ4月 13, 2017Good environment. Taking you back to old SH. Try the soup dumplings, fried green beans and the drink named falling in love
- Alex Robertson8月 10, 2018good Chinese food from the Cafe China crew. Kung pao chicken was better than the soup dumplings. Cocktails named after Wong kar wai movies
- Lori Luo8月 10, 2014A spacious, old-school ambiance pairs well with modern takes on Shanghainese cuisine. Try the Crispy Eel Wu Xi Style and the Eight Delicacies in Spicy Sauce.
- AmateurConcierge9月 8, 2017Really good Chinese. Was surprised at the quality of the Kung pao chicken and the bok choy. Wasn't impressed with the crab soup dumplings nor the scallion pancake
- Fueled Collective9月 23, 2013After the success of Sichuan restaurant, owners Yiming Wang and Xian Zhang are opening the newest Shanghai restaurant. With good food and a beautiful decor, this place will not disappoint.
- Tara Lorimer8月 28, 2016Authentic Shanghainese food with great vibe and decor - definitely will be coming back! Highly recommend the crispy eel.
- This place can be really good, but if it's very busy the kitchen cuts corners. Good homemade green tea ice cream.
http://www.chowhound.com/post/china-blue-929099?page=2 - T Z3月 26, 2017Eight Delicacies in Spicy Sauce... but can't go wrong with anything on the menu. So glad the Cafe China owners opened up this second spot!
- Ernesto Gutierrez3月 4, 2017The 'pork ribs Wuxi style' and the 'eight delicacies in spicy sauce' are drenched in sauce. Something to keep in mind if you want something light.
- Elvis Rodricks4月 13, 2016Our server recommended the Ashes of Time cocktail. Real great drink with a smoky after taste.
- Karan Tamhane4月 11, 2017Absolutely excellent food as well as service! Try the Ma Po Tofu with minced pork. The Kung Pao chicken is great too.

- Fei Huang9月 20, 2015We have tried many many Chinese restaurants in the states. This one has the best 鱼香肉丝 and 宫保鸡丁.
- Eater1月 6, 2014China Blue serves refined Shanghainese cuisine in a space evokes 1930s China. The owners earned a following at Cafe China, and the early word suggests that they have another hit on their hands.
- Lori Luo11月 16, 2014Try some of the modern takes on Shanghai dishes, like the Dongpo Pork and Eight Delicacies in Spicy Sauce.
- Eileen3月 10, 2018Came for lunch. Shredded beef with asian chili ($12) was pretty good. Would have preferred to family style with a group

- Omer Zach2月 14, 2020Everything was good and it’s a nice place but I’d generally rather eat in Chinatown.
- Bob D.3月 3, 2014Very nice space. Food decent though service was a bit slow considering was there at lunch and the place was pretty empty.
- Tonghe Liu11月 15, 2019Nothing surprising. Food is on the sweet side. If you like Shanghai Food this is a good place. But if you like Szechuan food this might not be the best place
- Ina Li3月 8, 2015Very authentic Shanghai cuisine. Small plates and very exquisite taste. 脆鳝 松子鲈鱼 八宝辣酱 咸蛋黄年糕 面筋双冬
