HISTORY5月 23, 2013Charlotte Motor Speedway was designed & built by Bruton Smith and partner and driver Curtis Turner in 1959. The first World 600 NASCAR race was held on June 19, 1960.

Scott Ray4月 19, 2012Plan on spending the whole night if you are driving home after the end of the race? 2-3 hour wait in parking spaces. I would plan on a after race tailgate party or camping out till 1:00 or later..

Panasonic3月 29, 2011In 2010 Panasonic installed the world's largest HD video board on the speedway. It's got 158 LED panels that create a gigantic, nearly 16,000-square-foot screen. (Approx. 200ft wide & 80ft tall).- Camping at the track and looking for something to do between races? Racing Electronics has added RE swag to geocaches all over the Speedway area.
If you go to the clubhouse make sure to ask for Mary!! She's the best!!!! N
