There IS a down escalator. Don't feel like you have to walk down the stairs.
Beware: The Angel Hair Classico is unexpectedly spicy. Also, the pumpkin beer is amazing.
Don't let the signage fool you, there actually IS Cherry Coke available at the upstairs concession stand.
Like to add your own butter to your popcorn? Use the public dispenser on the ticketed side of the concessions counter.
Taking the Metro to Woodley Park? Save your walking for inside the Zoo and take the L1 or L2 Metro bus directly to/from the main entrance.
For a pleasant view of the Washington Monument and Capital Building while at the airport walk outside Door 6 on the ticketing level to the railing of the north terrace/grassy area.
