This place is a bit of a dive (and doubles as a redneck night club of sorts in the evening), but it has great lunches. My fav is the crawfish etouffee, but the chicken a la mer is pretty good too.
The strength of this steakhouse lies in its preparation of the leaner cuts like the fillet, but their bone in rib eye is pretty awesome as well.
I have only been to this place once (it just recently opened), but the experience was good enough to warrant definite a return visit. Personal recommendations: the Tuscan Fries or the Fried Pickles.
Don't be fooled by the outside of this place. The food quality and presentation are SUPERB!!! Very limited hrs (only open for lunch and only on certain days). Come early (11:30) if you want a seat.
This really isn't Mexican (in fact I don't think you could even call it TexMex). Either way, it's well worth a visit. My fav is the Enchiladas Cozumel (kind of a seafood & avocado filled crape).
Very fun, very laid back steakhouse...have never had a bad item on the menu. It's only a short walk from the Buddy Holly museum and has live music on weekends.
This is another bit of a dive place that you want to arrive early to. The line usually stretches out the door and around the building during peak hours.
Try the Zingers or the Rib-eye, but keep your expectations in check before visiting. The food is quite good and decently priced, but don't expect a high-end atmosphere or you will be disappointed.
