My picks for quality beaches in Santa Cruz, CA in no specific order.
1. Beer Can Beach
2. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Movie Night
CJ L: So much fun. Happens every summer and are always a ton of fun.
3. Sunny Cove Beach
CJ L: Awesome winter break where a lot of the time you are protected from the wind. Be careful of permits.
4. Santa Cruz Main Beach
CJ L: Sandy Beach yo. This place is fun for a nice little vacation but the waves suck unless there is a storm.
5. Capitola Beach
CJ L: Capitola is awesome for everyone. Fun surf and a cute little town.
6. 26th Ave Beach
CJ L: Great break but be careful of the shore break. You gotta figure out what time is best on your own. Im not telling you.
7. Pleasure Point
CJ L: Not for beginners, thats for sure. You better know what you're doing if you go out here.
8. 38th Ave. Beach
CJ L: A little bit easier surf than the point and hook and usually a lot more mellow surfers.
9. The Hook
CJ L: Nice....Just be careful of the locals. Not a great idea if you don't know what you're doing.
10. Blacks Beach
CJ L: This place used to be banging. Nice place for a bonfire but the waves have died the past couple years.
11. Rosie McCann's Irish Pub & Restaurant
