Absolutely fantastic spot for weekend picnics. Love coming here, and plan to make it a regular thing.
So many fantastic bargains. Farmer stalls make weekly shopping cheap, and a lovely selection of plants and flowers. On a good day, you even notice a steal or two on other stalls.
There is a very dutch feeling to walking around the 9 streets. A multitude of boutique and designer stores await.
Taking the tour to top of the church is very enjoyable. You learn about the history of the church (and some of the city), and get treated to an amazing view at the end
My favorite part in the Amsterdam ring. Always really quite and peaceful - has a family feel. Nice to wander around on a Sunday afternoon.
Love this area, you never know what you might find. Suprise jazz (or other music events), ice cream. This is where to go if you want to experience Dutch culture on a Friday or Saturday evening.

The best boat tour in Amsterdam. Extremely personal and friendly feeling. It's a smaller, more intimate group than some of the larger tour boats, and is worth the money.
If you can make it to the top floor, the terrace has a great outlook of the city.

An extremely large park in the center of the city, and it breathes life. Filled with laughter and barbecues all summer long, it's great for a gentle stroll (or cycle)
