Stephen Bloom9月 30, 2017Ordered the Gumbo. Had to look outside to be sure I was in Detroit and not New Orleans. Very friendly staff. The best I have had in years. The food has real soul in it!
Try the fried chicken wings, collard greens, and candied yams are #yummy. They are seasoned and cooked perfectly just like mine. :) #yay

I recommend the angry lobster! Not on the menu but ask and ye shall receive. Fried lobster over rice and smothered with gumbo - yum!

Michelle S2月 4, 2015Riblets-very good, fried okra-good; Salmon croquet-good; pork chop was dry & tough.Staff was rude, you are not allowed to move tables even if you just sat down.So don't let them sit you by the door.

The Bartender at sidebar does not wash her hands between picking up dirty plates and serving drinks. Beware!
