Larry Hillblom, the billionaire founder of DHL, loved Vietnam. Add the Riverside in Q2, Dalat Palace, and Novotel Phan Thiet to his credit, and vision. Hillblom perished in a plane crash in 1995.

Part of the 'counter-culture cafe' fad sweeping VN now. Express counter service, take-away, to go etc. Draws a nice crowd all the same. Akin to the espresso bars of Rome, they even serve paninis.
Thumbs up. New French diner, nice, clean, in busy Tan Dinh, Good menu, good food, and very reasonable.
Binh Quoi 2-is the one with the tennis courts, swimming pool, hotel, and it situasted at the end of BInh Quoi Road. Beautiful grounds, and riverside restaurant. Quieter too.
Enjoy this sprawling, upscale cafe on the Nguyen Van Tri street promenade, overlooking the Dong Nai River and Hoa An bridge. Always loved NVT in the evenings. Delightful staff.

‘Quan F2 Party‘ began as a sinh vien grub spot, now tripled in size. Often busy, same good cheap eats with a free Coke or beer.
Good news: 4 beautiful courts, in a gorgeous setting. Bad news: Booking a court is frustrating. Playing is worse. Foreigners pay 2-3 times more via ball boys. Ironically it's SaigonTourist.
