Ankur Banerjee: The yoghurt-marinated fillings typically make the rolls not too spicy. If you're the kind who don't like your food spicy, pair it with a mango lassi (which is a thicker, smoother lassi than usual).
Ankur Banerjee: Excellent service and friendly staff at this boutique hotel. The rooms size is on par for central London hotels (it's small), but the design is chic and cosy. Love the Nespresso machines in room!

Ankur Banerjee: Portion sizes for the starters is really small, so beware of that (although they're delicious). Good range of sake available if you're into that kind of thing - ask the staff for pairings with food.
Ankur Banerjee: Sound mix within the screening rooms is excellent for a room that size. Seats aren't that comfortable but that adds to the charm of an independent theatre somwhat.

Ankur Banerjee: Shout (okay, maybe not) "kaedama" and they'll bring over another round of ramen; make sure you have enough of the soup left to add the ramen to!
Ankur Banerjee: Scenic and lovely hotel, with friendly and laidback staff. Rooms can be hit-or-miss (the age of the hotel sometimes shows through) but overall are spacious and comfy. Free wifi, but keeps logging out.
Ankur Banerjee: The mains can be quite heavy! (And delicious.) I'm usually a three-course meal person but I was very thrown by how full I was on just a main and sides. Interesting combination of flavours, I like it!

Ankur Banerjee: I liked this Mexican place for the New York-style tortas - a brioche bun which somewhat resembles a burger/sandwich, but with the same delicious pork/beef that's served with the tacos.
Ankur Banerjee: A one-of-a-kind place in London because it serves "Indian Chinese" cuisine, which is quite significantly different from traditional Chinese for its bolder uses of spices. Very authentic.
Ankur Banerjee: Tucked away around the back of Angel Tube station, Brewhouse is a microbrewery / gastropub with much charm, great selection of beers, and good food. Great choice in the Angel area for groups.
Ankur Banerjee: They have a food truck outside the restaurant in Chapel Market street during lunch hours. Good to grab on the go for a tasty Indian lunch!
