You do not want to miss this most historic place located in German Village - The original Max & Erma's!!! Opened in 1958 as a neighborhood restaurant, it was transformed into the chain in 1972.
While visiting German Village, be sure to come and immerse yourself in the Book Loft's 32 rooms of bargin books. It's definitely one of my favorite places!
Head over to Schiller Park to see the famous Umbrella Girl statue, have a picnic, hike or participate in many of its recreational activities!
